Easy to use and just an amazing app to stay connected and share pictures and videos with everyone! EDIT: down to 1 star after update. Choosing photos to upload is horrible now! It doesn't show all my photos. The drop down menu to select the album sucks too. If I choose to see more, it only shows me 5 "collections" It used to be much easier before. I don't know why or how or who approved this but it sucks BAD.

My WhatsApp has no ring tone for over a month now. All notifications and sounds are on. Notifications makes sound but if someone calls, I only get notification of a missed call. My phone volume is on, regular straight calls ring just fine. A number of people tried to fix it but see no problem. I uninstall and reinstall and that hasn't worked either.

it's very useful but it does have a couple of issues. it takes over the audio channel even though I never use it for audio. and the backups are very brittle and opaque, it's too easy to lose them when switching from phone to phone, and there's no way to redo a failed backup restore or restore a prior backup if the latest one isn't working

What’s new

• You can now add a custom Member Tag to let everyone know your role in the group chat. Open the group chat, tap the group name and scroll to the members list. Tap Add member tag and type in your role to show people who you are or how you’re known in this group.
