Easy to use and just an amazing app to stay connected and share pictures and videos with everyone! EDIT: down to 1 star after update. Choosing photos to upload is horrible now! It doesn't show all my photos. The drop down menu to select the album sucks too. If I choose to see more, it only shows me 5 "collections" It used to be much easier before. I don't know why or how or who approved this but it sucks BAD.

I believe Meta is deliberately making the app worse and worse over time, trying to drive us all back to Facebook Messenger. it seems as though with every new update, this app becomes more and more broken. Since around July, it's had a problem where when I try to open it, it will just crash sending me back to the home screen. now, on top of that, half the time sending a voicemail doesn't work because it refuses to use the microphone.

Hate this app. I'm already in, and have been in several group chats, now all of a sudden it needs me to sync my contacts before I can proceed. I don't want to sync unwanted contacts to my app just to continue communicating with the people I've been communicating with for over a year now. I think these "app permissions" are more restricting than anything, almost as if to say, "Give us access to your entire phone's contents if you want to use our app" and I'm getting tired of it.

What’s new

• You can now add a custom Member Tag to let everyone know your role in the group chat. Open the group chat, tap the group name and scroll to the members list. Tap Add member tag and type in your role to show people who you are or how you’re known in this group.
