About this app

Wrumer connects* to your car's internal computer and its speakers.

It reads the cars RPM speed and throttle application and based on that plays an enhanced engine sound through your car's speakers.

You can choose between multiple car engine sounds and effects, such as a Turbo Whistle and Backfires.

It's fun. I received my wrumer obd today and got some cool sounds. However, after calibrating properly, I've noticed some of the sounds don't sound like the actual vehicle. Some of the sounds are spot on though. If any way I can suggest the app becoming better I'd suggest the following 1. Add an option to add custom sounds 2. Make the app able to run in the background instead of having to have the screen on whilst driving (I don't know if this applies to iphones)

Asked for this for my birthday after seeing an advert for it. Essentially the engine sound on the advert bears absolutely no resemblance to what you get in reality. I'm really disappointed. I was looking forward to this. I drive an M340i at work but can't afford one at home. I thought this might make my 4 cylinders sound a bit less rubbish! I wouldn't waste your money.

Very good idea, but more options are needed! For example, rotary engine , bass level ! The most annoying thing is that it won't work in split screen mode nor in the background, so I can't use Google Maps, Waze, or similar navigation !
