Ratings and reviews

Have used Xoom for many years. Before PayPal took over the app, it worked very well. But since PayPal took it over it has become bad to worse. The money transfer takes ages. Often times there is a delay of 7 days or so with verification process. It also says, in order to speed up the process, you can verify the amount debited from your bank account. When you try to do that, the process spins for ever and times out. Very poor experience. Moving over to much better & very fast alternative app.

It used to be almost instant when you do transactions, especially when you use debit cards to pay for it, but now as of lately it takes a hour or even longer at times to complete the transaction still good for it's service. They just need to fix the transaction times to how it used to be, and it would be a 5 star rating.

Very very poor in refund processing.. I have been using Xoom services since 2013. I had the worst services from xoom. I initiated a transaction on Dec 18, and it got completed within minutes, but the money was not deposited. Today, Dec 31st, I am still waiting for my refunds, and I am keeping calling the support team to expedite. Very poor process for refunds. I'm switching to another provider.
