About this app

We started Empower to empower drivers who can’t make a sustainable living under the current rideshare model and to provide an alternative for passengers who want the convenience provided by on-demand transportation platforms, but prefer to support drivers, not the companies exploiting them. By removing the giant corporate middleman, Empower is able to do that, while enabling passengers to obtain less expensive and more customized transportation directly from drivers.

Drove for Uber/Lyft 11 yrs.. Just signed up on this app and I immediately notice there needs to be more notifications settings. I'm bombarded with surge messages every few mins with no way to turn them off. Developers please take notes on what drivers like & hate about the Uber & Lyft apps. If you combine the likes of both you will have an amazing Driving App! I'll update after my first month experience.

please fix the issue that app keep sending notification for surge! that is annoying! you have no option to turn off the notification

Empower came a long way. The money is now here to be made. I noticed there are many more passengers needing rides as word got around town. Just put the time in, and you will get good results. I suggest verified photos and names for an even better experience as a driver.
