kyago - more than a speedtest

134

kyago is an app that lets you quickly, comprehensively measure and analyze mobile internet access on modern smartphones and for every technology - GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, HSPA, LTE, LTE Advanced and WIFI, among others.

With the kyago speedtest, you can check the available local bandwidth for uploads and downloads in just seconds, along with the average runtime for queries. The software, developed in Germany, uses the national reference systems to perform tests according to the highest quality standards in Germany.

All of the speedtest results can be saved on your smartphone and in the kyago database at zafaco, by location and time. The app is available free of charge and without advertisements.

In cooperation with Süddeutsche Zeitung, the anonymized results data will be used for evaluation of mobile network quality and made publicly available.

Besides the measurement of mobile broadband internet access, the app provides the feature to capture the Network Coverage and dead zones of your service provider.

kyago was developed by zafaco GmbH, a company with many years of benchmarking experience that works with all of the leading DSL, cable, mobile service and VoIP providers, the trade press in Germany and the German Federal Network Agency.
