Updated review... After an apparent issue with Android the app is working well. I still wish I could hide the "where to" search box, but at least the rest of it is fixed. This app is a must for safe traveling in winter months in Minnesota. Thanks to MNDOT for quick fix to app. Old review.. horrible! Cluttered with icons which mean nothing. I miss the quick look at the whole state road conditions without having to zoom in on certain area. This is much more cumbersome than it used to be.

Way to many meaningless icons. There is no way to see the entire state's winter road conditions. For companies with employees throughout the entire we need to see their situation without going to each area. This is a disaster. At least give options to have this option vs. All of the clutter, ie. old look or new look. Many applications allow this type of user interface option!

Changing my previous review... What did you do to the app? I just want to be able to see how the roads are, without having to put in where I'm going each time. Are they covered in snow? Are they icy and slick? Are they clear? Have the ability to put where you're going as an option, not a requirement to get road details. Also, I cannot register to try to personalize the app. Cannot get past the optional ad of phone number. And any other changes I make, do not stay. This update is terrible!

What's new

- Changed the default map layers to winter driving and critical disruptions. This change was made to make winter driving reports and unplanned incidents more prominent on the map view and easier to find for users.
- Updated the app so that it defaults to the statewide map view when opened (as opposed to zooming close in to the user's location). This improvement was made to allow users to get a better view of statewide winter driving conditions.
