How does GoZone work?
GoZone is an on-demand travel concept that takes multiple passengers heading in the same direction and books them into a shared vehicle. Using the app, input your location and we’ll match you with a vehicle going your way. We’ll pick you up on a nearby corner and drop you off within a short walk of your chosen destination. Now for the clever bit; our algorithms provide journey times that are comparable to a taxi and much more convenient than other modes of travel, making public transportation easier than ever before!

Gozone: for when you wanna spend the first 30 minutes of your day searching for a ride by clicking a half million times just for the app to search for all of five seconds and tell you no one's available. Then you give up and take a $10 Uber anyway. FIX THE QUEUES. And every time I close the app now, it logs me out. So I can't stay logged in, can't get a ride when I am logged in. What does this app even do correctly? You get 2 stars. When the app does work, it's fine, but it's been unusable.

I loved the idea of this since I have a chronic condition that keeps me from driving and walking far. I used it to get to class and to drop me off at the train station. However, the app often messes up so that the driver doesn't see where to drop off. This makes them drop off in order that they were picked up which doesn't always make sense. (Ex. Dropping #1 off at a stop 20 minutes away first when #2 had a drop off 5 minutes away). I wish there was a better app and that we could schedule rides.

Horrific. I used it a bit and experienced long wait times and even longer drop off times for locations that were nearby, but those were fine. When a driver stops to take a smoke break while playing inappropriate songs in the car explicitly telling women to flash men, that is something else entirely. If this was a friend's car, that'd be different. This is a city service. Beware of reporting, they don't respond to emails and have outsourced their phones. Travel in groups and stay safe.
