The MINI App is only supported by vehicles that were built after March 2018 and have the MINI Connected Services optional equipment in combination with a compatible smartphone. The Remote Services optional equipment is required for an optimum app experience. The availability of app functions may vary from country to country.

the app is easy to use. It allows me to monitor my Mini, install updates for the car, etc. very useful and so far no issues. Updated review Aug 26 - there is a issue with this up in that the Mytrips data is not uploading from the car to the app. It works then stops, tried all the usual log out and in, restart the console in the car, uninstall app reinstall. nothing resets it. All other data is coming through to the App just not Mytrips many other users reporting the same problem.

You can never depend on this app to charge your car. If you eventually get it to acknowledge the car car is plugged in, which usually takes two or three attempts, there's no guarantee that the car will be charged by morning when you need it. I rely totally on Ohme's app to take care of my charging needs.

On my Android devicr, yhe vehicle does not boot up the Mini app when I try to enable Apps option on the car's screen. The app does not inform the vehicle about it's availability. 28th June 2025, it is fixed now, thanks! May 2026, it is broken again. May 2026, got an update, but still not working. They officially broke the Apps availability.
