About this app

IMPORTANT: MagentaTV - 1st generation can only be used in conjunction with tariffs/bookings before February 15, 2024. For tariffs and bookings since February 15, 2024, use the new, further developed MagentaTV (MagentaTV: TV & Streaming).

OTHER REQUIREMENTS AND NOTES:
The prerequisite for use is internet access from any provider and a MagentaTV tariff from Telekom. Further information about MagentaTV and booking options can be found on the Telekom Deutschland website under “TV”.
For licensing reasons, there are restrictions on certain channels, which, for example, can only be received in Telekom Deutschland networks for domestic use.
Not all programs are available for the Cloud Recorder, Download & Play and Timeshift & Restart either.

DATA CONSUMPTION IN THE MOBILE NETWORK
An LTE or 5G connection is required for use via mobile communications. We recommend a Telekom smartphone tariff with sufficient data volume.

Version 3.0.0 does not work on Android 10 (Android 11 was a typo). When opening the App I receive an error message and.... That's it... I'm not able to use it... Reinstall, Cache cleaning, reboot does not help. The error message says "Das hat leider nicht funktioniert. Bitte versuchen es noch einmal (1000000)". It offers to retry (exactly the same error message appears again) or to close the app.

The idea is great, the content is good, the price is fair. But the app is rather buggy and ruins the whole experience. Laggs, freezes, ignoring downloaded content, eating up your mobile data budget. In the video plaYer thr audio often get async to thr video. Too bad, please fix this.

Not the smartest app on my phone. It doesn't remember my email address and password. Have to sign in too often. Have to click three times to start watching something. Often it says "Booking erforderlich" as if I don't have an account. Deleting it right after Euro 20

Hi Tolga Ayakta, normally the login data are saved till 90 days or till an update of the App or the firmware of the device. Could you uninstall the App and install it again? This should solve the login problem. Maybe it can solve the "Buchung erforderlich" problem too. ;-) ^Daniel
