my mistake with previous review! I see I misconstrued the purpose of this app & it's limitations. this should be effective if you're using it to avoid eye strain. it doesn't reduce the amount of light coming from your phone, but does help against the harsh contrast that can be a problem. Not super useful for me, but might be for you. has a fun pixelated option. Though, it sort of makes me uncomfortable to give an app full permissions like this, though, so I will be uninstalling it. Ad-free!!!
All this permissions is required for this app to function, and the android team reviewed the application before publishing it, also, it doesn't have the internet permissions at all - your data will never come out of your phone

Mostly good. But fingerprint, arrows in shrink screen, and things like the accessibility button are still the power of 1000 suns. Screenshots, screen captures, etc. will also be extremely dim vs what you see. The overlay is unfortunately visible to the system, not just eyes.

Nice app but the pixel filter causes unusable pink screen on lower brightness, and otherwise on lower brightness colors are innacurate. It would be nice to have a color calibration tool for lower brightnesses. This isn't the developers fault though, it's Samsung's. Oh, also it would be honestly AMAZING if the app had widgets to add to home screen, so I can control brightness from there. Preferably 4x1 and 5x1 widgets with brightness sliders.
This is not possible to add sliders in the Android widgets
