My phone won't allow me to scan. Would be nice if when writing out meals they had where you could enter the item you want to enter along with the calories. When it comes to frozen foods I could just look at the package and type in the info. A tutorial mode would also be nice. I have no clue how to use the my food feature. One last thing jacks has more brands of pizza than pepperoni, supreme, and cheese. I guess I am saying it would be nice if you have a brand listed to list all of their products.
I'm just starting to keep track of my calorie intake. I like that the diary is there to see where the calories are coming from. I like that it makes suggestions to changes in my diet to help me achieve my goals but it doesn't always work. When the barcode scanner can find a match, it's great! If not, I have to type it I. And pray that it's there. If it's not there you are supposed to be able to add it but that feature doesn't work well and at least once a day I'm trying to find a similar item to take it's place.
Very good at helping with me keeping track of what I eat. The only issue is the search option at least for me doesn't work if I put in more than one word. Which can be frustrating and time consuming, since I have to scroll through many similar food to find the one I'm looking for.
Seems like it should be good but the food search is nearly useless. Try finding "turkey sausage" and it spins like I asked it to find the meaning of life. Update: per a suggestion from the company, I uninstalled and reinstalled the program. No difference. Still cannot find most Foods searched for. Either there is a problem with LG V10 and this app or the app itself has problems with its search abilities. Until this is fixed, the program is useless
It's really handy and is easy to use. It counts calories as well as carbs, protein and fats. The library is very extensive, too. Maybe improve the barcode scanner. Still thats only a side note. Edit: the search function is really damn slow.
Like this app way better than any other diet app I've tried. It allows for versatility in diet planning which I like. My only complaint would be that the food database can be slow when searching or adding foods... other than that it's great.
