the login process is dumb: it says that it needs a passport number, which is not required when you buy the insurance. Therefore, it does recognize the existing customer. You need to insert the fiscal code, not the passport number. edit: I understand the reply, but please change the text writing this, rather that asking for a passport number.
Hello, to register in the Heymondo App, use the same ID you used when purchasing. If you bought through our Italian site, enter your Italian Fiscal Code. Be cautious with these guys. Buying the insurance, in the past, has been inexpensive and easy. I have never tried to make a claim, that would be the true deciding factor for this, however, it's a big red flag when the app, and the website (mobile and desktop) are all buggy. I get an error when trying to purchase, because my end date gets replaced by "invalid date", and there is no way to fix that, also no customer service available (outside of emergencies) on weekends.

The app is now called 'meeting doctors' it says it's 24hrs support but I just logged out from the app because a bot told me that no one is online right now. I am more disappointed about the service than the app. It's been an extraordinary year for me in terms of travel, having covid and other medical issues on two separate occasions but it's super hard to claim anything from them.

We are sorry to hear you have experienced issues with the App. However, we would like to let you know there are two different features at Heymondo's App: one sales support feature and the medical chat. The one you have tried to use is to contact sales support. The medical team is available 24/7 whereas sales support from 09:00 to 18:30 GMT+1.
