About this app

Live shows make us feel good. They’re a time to hang with our friends, discover new artists or lose ourselves on a dancefloor. We’re on a mission to bring all of this to more fans, more often. Download DICE to see what’s happening in your city.

With DICE, you can:
•  sync your Spotify or Apple Music and receive personalised recommendations based on your music library
•  get tickets to live shows from all around the world
•  invite friends, follow each other, and get suggestions for shows that you’ll both like and can attend together
•  save events for later and find out if tickets are running low closer to the date, or get reminders for when they’re on sale so you don’t miss out
•  join the Waiting List for sold-out events and be next in line to get tickets, or get a refund if you can no longer go
•  transfer tickets to a friend if you have a spare, can’t make it or as a gift because you’re nice like that.

I was forced to download this app so that I could go to a show I want to go to, no other way to get a ticket. It wants location data. It wants access to your contacts. When you go to buy tickets it wants to automatically add your credit card to Google pay. It wants to access your music streaming services in short this app wants too much data in general. A better way to protect fans from scalpers is to have no advanced tickets and pay for admission at the door like how it used to be done.

The app will not start, it just keeps crashing. Tried reinstalling multiple times. Tried clearing space and data on my phone as well to no avail. I think it is a bit ridiculous for venues to require downloading an app to get into a show for this exact reason. My show is tonight and I have no way to access my tickets.

Hi Shannon, we're really sorry to hear you've had a bad experience with the App. As a heads up, we always send a list to the door so that fans can access an event with a photo ID that matches the name on their account. If you want to email us at help@dice.fm with more information, we'll be able to look into what the problem was. Thank you!

This app is poorly designed. It's also impossible to transfer tickets to a friend. First, they demand contacts permission instead of accepting a phone number or email address. Secondly, even after granting permission, there is no way to send the ticket to a friend as it is only showing me a handful of contacts. The other person needs to create an account and then you need to follow each other to transfer tickets, but there is absolutely no helpful instructions for doing this. We figured it out from reading one-star reviews here, so that was a fun time. DICE relies on using email to resolve all issues, but doesn't have a way to deal with urgent issues (like same-day ticketing problems that need to be resolved immediately) via phone. I'm pretty annoyed that the venue uses this service and have given them feedback as well.
