Profile Options The only thing I don't like is that it suggested my daily calorie needs based off (I think,) weight and height. What it didn't ask, or account for, I'm 8 months pregnant... NOT overweight. Maybe add a profile option for this?
Great idea for app. We need this. Bar scan feature gives food a letter grade, and tells you why. Probably has 80-90% of items we have bought.
Lost 3 lbs in 4 days. I like how it calculates your calories and shows you how much was in each meal. You can add exercises you do that day and it then modifies your calories. It will graph your nutrition and tell you what percentage was protein, carbs, and fat. I lost weight by increasing my fiber and water, and lowering my suger intake. I also love checking the health value of foods before I buy. I can make better choices in the grocery store.
Legit Very helpful and a good motivator if you're trying not to eat something or find something better than what you're craving it is a good use of Fooducate.. but it's also just a program not perfect and not a tool to Compare Foods based off the letter grade Fooducate
Conflicting Information We eat low carb so I chose to turn on the low carb option-it wanted me to upgrade to premium. That was a turnoff, there are tons of free apps that track that. But I still explored. 1st product I looked up had 2 different entries, 1 with a D grading & 1 with a B grading (wanted to add a photo but doesn't look like I can.) Did some other browsing at low carb stuff.. grapes are 16 carbs per cup but are listed as low carb on here. Not accurate info, grapes aren't low carb. I'll be sticking w/ Atkins & MFP apps!
OMG, I love this app ...so much so that I upgraded to pro. Q question: could you add a feature that makes home - cooking meal planning easier by allowing us to build Recipes on a separate tab, with the ability to add the meals in the future?
