I used to use ZeroTier, but Netbird is just as easy to set up! They also set up local routing for you, rather than having to set it up manually. Huge convenience!!! 🐦

Very bad and unstable client. The service works but many times breaks connectivity with internet and needs to turn the data off and on. Many times it does not push correct routes although the Linux and Windows clients work flawlessly. It seems that they don't care for mobile devices. Too bad. The application has so much potential.

I was sceptical of reviews and thought this app can't be that bad. Boy was I wrong. The bare requirement of maintaining the vpn in the background is broken. Switching networks might show vpn is still on, it's not, you have to reconnect in the app. And the app itself would show connected, while it's not, and would need to force stop to make it work again, not really practical if you want remote access to your LAN on Android
