About this app

Sixty questions, five options each, 100 minutes, and a wrong answer that costs 0.4 points. IMAT Prep gets you ready for the admission test to the English-taught degree courses in Medicine and Surgery, Dentistry and Veterinary Medicine at Italian universities, with practice organised in six subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, and Reading & General Knowledge.

Five ways to practise from the Practice tab:
- Question Bank: over 200 questions you can practise, by subject and by syllabus topic (the cell, homeostasis, stoichiometry, electromagnetism, probability and more), at Easy, Medium or Hard.
- Sprint: short rounds against a pace clock set by the real ratio of 100 minutes for 60 questions.
- Full-length tests: 60-question papers with a 100-minute countdown, a question navigator and a review-and-submit step, graded on our server at plus 1.5 for a right answer, minus 0.4 for a wrong one and 0 for a blank.
- Mistakes: each wrong answer with its solution, grouped by topic, to retry until you mark it mastered.
- Blank or guess?: a two-minute read that works out from the marking scheme when a guess pays and when a blank is the safer call.

Inside a practice question you can cross out options, mark it for review, leave it blank on purpose, tap Check, then See why for the explanation, or report a question that looks wrong.

Ask Tutor is the AI tutor included with Premium. Before you check, it gives a hint without the answer; afterwards it explains why the choice you picked was wrong or why the key is right. It asks for your consent before your first message and sends nothing to the AI model until you agree; after that it sends your message and the question you ask about.

A finished paper opens a report with your raw score out of 90, how many answers were right, wrong or blank, a breakdown by subject with Physics and Mathematics together as on the real paper, and a review of every question. It is a practice score, never an official result. Analytics shows questions attempted and accuracy for all subjects, the sciences or Logic & GK, plus mistakes to review, weekly activity and your study streak. Home lays out Today's plan.

Allow notifications and the app reminds you one day, two days and one week after your last practice, and at 8 pm when your streak is about to lapse.

Accounts and Premium. Sign up or sign in with Google or with an e-mail address. On the basic plan you practise a set number of questions each day and can sit IMAT Practice Test 1. Premium is an auto-renewing subscription, billed monthly or yearly: it lifts the daily cap, opens every full-length paper and turns on Ask Tutor. The charge goes to your Google Play account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically until you cancel it. Manage or cancel it in the Google Play Store under Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions. To restore an earlier purchase, use Restore Purchases on the Premium screen or Restore purchases in Profile; account deletion is in Profile too.
