Canary is home security made simple. The Canary app works with our security devices to connect your home to your phone, allowing you to view and protect those that matter most.

Monitor your home: Watch live or recorded HD videos day or night. Access Canary’s timeline for a living history of your home. Save and bookmark your favorite clips.

Intelligent notifications: When Canary identifies something out of the ordinary, you’ll get a notification with recorded HD video of the event, as well as the option to watch live.

Automatic arming: Canary changes modes when you come and go. No complicated keypads or codes to remember.

When all members are away Canary monitors for activity and sends notifications

When a member is home Canary is customizable. You can set notification and privacy preferences.

Schedule Canary to monitor for activity while you sleep.

- Privacy
Camera and microphone are completely off.


Emergency Options: Respond to incidents directly from the Canary app. Trigger the 90 decibel siren, or be connected directly to your home’s local emergency responders.

Edit: for those who are reading this, their service department asked me to go into the app settings and clear the cache and data. This seems to have fixed the issue. Rating adjusted accordingly. Latest update isn't allowing the app to work on my phone (Samsung s10+). Immediately goes to my home screen. Using version 7.5.1. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app.

My app has stopped working. I go to click on the app it automatically goes right back to my phones home screen. I'm getting alerts for one camera. Those I can't even view to see what's going on. It was working just fine this morning. I've been with canary for well over 10 years if I am not mistaken. Really disappointed right now. There was recently an app update on 12/4. 😞

Most recent update broke it. The app was already slow and buggy at times, but it's worse now. My phone says the app has bugs, so the app won't even open. And it's stuck on 'away' mode so I get more notifs than I like. Edit: January 5th, cannot access the app, or my account, and i have to manually change modes as it won't auto change anymore. What happened this time? -_-
