I really like the design. It's easy and similar to the google calendar. What brings to the this: I wanted to get away from the google calendar. Not because of the UI but because of the limited functionality. Like iCal URLs can only be added using the web interface and then take hours to synchronize with the app. This calendar does not even support to add iCal urls at all ... But every service is providing me with such e.g. University and even the local garbage pickup service. Uninstalled ...

Thank you for your feedback! We have an existing request about supporting the option to subscribe to calendars within the app, to which we've added your vote internally. Regarding the sync issue you had encountered, please note that this is usually resolved by logging out and then back into the app.

As a calendar, it's usable and has basic features. Reminders are good and basic functionality is working. Something to improve would be, as many people mentioned week view, because it would be by far the most usable view option and color coded events. So Having the option of different colors for different event categories like important and non important.

Thank you for your feedback and for taking the time to review our app! Although custom event colors are not yet available, we have now introduced 3-day and Week view options in the app. If you're happy with the new views after trying them out, we'd really appreciate it if you considered updating your review and giving us a 5-star rating.

Email reminders are completely useless on the smartphone app since the just show that you received "a reminder", but they don't contain any info about the event itself (except a link that you can click which guides you to the calendar app again). But I do love Proton and all the associated apps. Great job!
