Ratings and reviews

Slow uploads and downloads, if they even manage to finish in the first place. Background operations are unreliable. The photo backup is essentially broken, I spent a week trying to upload my photos, but gave up eventually. No way to periodically automatically backup an Android folder in the background. No way to tell how much storage each folder is using. The "Computers" tab doesn't show any of my computers running the Proton Drive desktop clients. And there are many more other quality issues.

Going with a solid 3 star rating for the storage aspect of Drive. I store stuff and I retrieve stuff...it works. I'm more interested in the further development of a robust Sheets app (on desktop and Android). I'm a big spreadsheet user and although Google Sheets is good, I don't need them scraping all my data. Hopeful I can move spreadsheets/workbooks (stocks, budgets, planning, etc.) into an encrypted cloud ecosystem and have ability to edit on mobile when needed. Waiting patiently.

Only found out after I paid for the year in advance that I cannot edit sheets in the mobile app, so it's really just a viewer. Rather useless, really. Wake me up when it's an actual usable tool. Trying to wean myself off Google but some features don't export, like check boxes. No find feature, unless you open as a web page and use the browser search. Should've done more research but the incessant buy-me nags won the day.
