​Booksy’s platform enforces strict penalties on clients, requiring a card on file to automatically charge a fee if a customer misses an appointment. However, the app offers zero protection when the barber cancels on you. My barber canceled my appointment, yet I was still hit with a $25 fee for a haircut I never received and he never rescheduled.

There's a bug that shows a booking total, but will secretly add a hidden tip to the total during payment. Customer Service *acknowledged the bug* and told me to try to get the refund from my barber when it wasn't their fault. The default tip should be shown and changeable. This isn't too confused with the optional tip screen. Completely different. That gets set to zero and I've gotten secretly charged $10 extra 3 times in a row.

the app interface is just okay. My barber messaged me and I only noticed through an app notification popup. Once I click it, the app simply takes me to my appointment page with no place to respond or view the full message. this is a huge error and could cost people money if a business chooses to rely mainly on Booksy and doesn't have other accessible communication channels. extremely frustrating. i have no way to see the message that was sent to me nor respond.
