About this app
The Remotek One and the Remotek Rally are unique battery powered remote controllers to be used on a handlebar to control your phone or tablet. The battery lasts for years, and the unit is at IP68 well protected from the environment. A quick lock or one bolt alone makes it very quick to move from vehicle to vehicle or to bicycles. With many controllable map apps for both segments, it is a tool of great use. No more messing with the touch screen while riding.

The app: Install this app and let the Remotek control a multitude of other apps. It will work in the background and map the keys on the Remotek to many maps, roadbooks and other applications. The list will grow over time on popular demand.
Switch between the apps with key shortcuts.
Eventually we will add firmware update possibilities in the app.

Google Maps, Guru Maps, Gaia GPS, Strava, Detecht, Osmand, Osmand Plus, Locus, Kurviger, MyRouteApp, Waze, Rever, Ride with GPS, Båtfart, Accuweather, Boating, Piste Roadbook, Rally Navigator, Topo GPS.
More apps will be added on popular demand.
Security and accessibility services:
This app includes our Remotek Accessibility service that uses the Android Accessibility API to detect the app in focus and adapt the controller key strokes to functions in the current app.
By accepting to run the accessibility service, the app will monitor and read key strokes from our Remotek controllers, will read UI elements on the screen and map the key strokes to interact with those elements. It will also emulate swipes and pinches in map applications triggered by key strokes on the controller.
It will NOT collect any user data or connect to the internet to send any data anywhere.
Our accessibility service is only triggered by the user when hitting a button on the controller. It triggers nothing unseen in the background, and at any time it can be turned off by the user in the system accessibility settings.
