Finally: Everything you need to ride public transport, all in one app. You can plan your journey, buy a ticket and set up a personal profile when you ride with us. With the Ruter app, you can also:
• See departures in real time
• Save places you visit often
• See how crowded the bus is in real time
• Filter modes of transport
• Get relevant service disruption information
• Find the nearest available city bike
• See how long it takes to bike or walk

If you set up a personal profile:
• Tickets, history and favourites will be safely stored with us – even if you change phones
• We can offer you quicker and more convenient customer service

This is just the beginning of the new app – we’ll finish it together. More and better features will be available in the future.

This app isn't just bad, it is unusable. On each android phone I have tried, the issue is the same. I try to fill in my name and the keyboard sticks. "E" becomes "EEee", etc. To work around it I have tried copy+paste, and that works for 1 sec, and I am asked to fill in my name again. I have been using the old Ruter Bilett app for years now, because it at least work. Update: I was able to make it work by first creating an account on ruter.no before logging in in the app.

Hi, sorry to hear that the app is not working for you. Have you tried deleting the app and reinstalling it? Regardless, I will pass the problem on to our developers. Iver/Ruter AS

My initial review was aimed at a missing "check for departures from station". This has since then been added from map, and added again as a tab in the main page. This feature, and the ability to see where the vehicle in question is on the journey (gps) has saved me a lot of time as i now can time my travel and connections much better. Hats off, i was frustrated at first, but it has been worth the wait. +1 if tracking = optional when using an account. But atleast having an account is optional.

New ticket doesn't show until you navigate to a different menu and back, making you think your purchase failed (and you might buy another to correct it). Today it wouldn't even update to show my purchase until I restarted the app. Ruter doesn't refund you if you buy two single tickets accidentally, as far as I recall.
