Northwestern University is continuing its partnership with Via, a leading mobility tech provider, to offer free rides to Northwestern students across campus and the surrounding Evanston area during evening and night hours.
How does Safe Ride work?
The service works like a rideshare that comes where you want, when you want. Enter your pickup and dropoff addresses and choose the ride option that works best for you!
What if I already have a Via account?
Same service you know and love, but in a new and improved app.
download Safe Ride app and log in using your net id and password.
How much are trips?
Rides are free if you are an eligible student. Head to https://www.northwestern.edu/saferide/ for more information.
How long will I wait?
- You'll always get an accurate estimate of your pick-up ETA before booking
- You can also track your ride in real time using the app
