I have been the biggest jitsi advocate for the past 3 years and have used it for everything from personal calls to big meetups, to business communication. Now im sorry to say the app is basically unusable. The new moderator requirements mean that I have to login, and jitsi cannot communicate with my (Firefox) browser. Ive tried everything but I might have to throw in the towel, the ease of use has been diluted so much it makes it hard to recommend.

I really enjoy this app since Hangouts is gone. It's really important to us to be able to have multiple people screen sharing at once. I only have one real issue. Sometimes when I hang up to leave the call, it'll keep repeatedly adding me back to the call. Hanging up doesn't work and closing all apps doesn't work. It's really frustrating because I would like to leave the call as soon as I hit the hang up button.

Compared to attending a Jitsi-meeting in a modern browser, I would call the experience "neutral" when it comes to the app. Some part of the UI needs to be re-designed for modern phones that have no physical font facing buttons since they use "on-screen buttons" and this "interacts" with the app. It's also interesting to note that if I use Chrome or Firefox on the smartphone, the meeting works much better (showing video from everyone, etc) than it does if I use the app (no video from others).
