About this app

The Member Tools app provides members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with the ability to contact ward and stake members, access event calendars, and locate Church meetinghouses and temples. Leaders can also access additional membership information and reports.

•Messages. View messages with important updates or actions needed.
•Directory. View contact information and photos of members in your ward and stake.
•Organizations. View ward and stake callings by organization.
•Calendar. View event calendars for your ward and stake.
•Reports. Ward and stake leaders can access membership reports for members of their ward and stake.
•Manage Records. Bishops, branch presidents, and clerks can move records and record ordinances.
•Lists. Create custom lists of members in your ward and stake.
•Missionary. Access contact information for the full-time missionaries assigned to and serving from your ward or stake.
•Temples. View your assigned temple, temples nearest your current location, ordinance schedules, and temple recommend expiration reminders.
•Meetinghouses. Find meetinghouse locations and addresses, sacrament meeting times, and contact information for bishops.
•Finance. Organization presidencies can submit payment requests.

Ratings and reviews

Apparently my feedback from a previous version of this review found it's way to the development team via my interaction on the Church Tech Forum communicating more details on the problem my entire ward was having and a data fix was implemented a day later. This is a great app, and I look forward to the app's data sync becoming more reliable. Everything else about this app is outstanding.

I love how I have so much information at my fingertips. It makes fullfilling my callings much easier. It is also wonderful for traveling as it makes finding church buildings and learning about meeting times very easy. Alas, there are some persistent bugs. It seems I need to update the app everytime I open it. The loading times can also be extensive. Closing my app and restarting my phone usually helps, but it is tedious. Good start, but could use work.

I use this app a lot but since I moved to a different Ward, I've been unable to sync my Ward directory which has been a large pain in the posterior. I wish that the app was unified with the Gospel library and everything was just in one place and I didn't have four different apps to use but maybe that's just a pipe dream

What’s new

Young Women Age-Group Names Updated
Updated Young Women classes to use the updated age-group names: Builders of Faith (turning ages 12-13), Messengers of Hope (turning ages 14-15), and Gatherers of Light (turning age 16 or older).

Create Child Records
Ward clerks can now create membership records for children of record.

Class and Quorum Attendance Improvements

Groups is now Member Lists
