Update as of 5/10/17: the new app updates still don't allow me to use for Express rides which are all I need it for. Please add that option, and I will use it. 3/2017: Useless - I take a bus that's $3. There is no $3 option, and I'm not willing to pay $4.50 for a $3 ride. If I could buy a few $3 tickets at once to get over the minimum, that would be fine. Which brings up another point, why is there a minimum?! Basically this app is unusable. Uninstalling and will continue to pay $3 in cash and assorted coins.
Convenient but logs me out and my stored tickets have disappeared without ever activating them. Fix this garbage so I'm not throwing money away.
Worthless to me. Will not read GPS location, and finds "no routes", when they exist. Easier to stick to Google maps mass transit options.
I had bought 3 tickets 1 rush hour pass and 2 non rush hour tickets. For a few days I was unable to use my regular fare tickets but was able to use the 2.25 ticket.. that ticket is now expired and now my 2 non rush hour fare tickets are nowhere to be found.. I want either a refund or my tickets back. You can throw in a free ticket for all this inconvenience.
Drivers do not accept receipts of recent purchase so when the app doesn't show you bought a ticket (even after the recommended reboot of the phone). Most payments are lost without refund. Lovely app for wasting money to no avail.
Worthless. Download ANGRY Birds instead. You'll have the exact same likelihood of being able to catch a bus. 1) No Express route fares. Stupid idea given rush hour is the most likely time anyone uses the bus. 2) As of 5/18, this worthless space occupier won't give me an option to purchase a ticket. Wow, what a great feature! 3) No option to just load a dollar amount so it works like a To Go card. For that matter, add a monthly option. I always have my phone... Seriously, other large cities have these options. All Metro has to do is swallow their pride and buy the software instead of being "edgy" and trying to write their own. If a bus in rural India can do this, these overpaid clods can. That or just hire the Indian company.
1️⃣ No more $4.50 minimum purchase required. Buy a ticket for just one ride.
2️⃣ Rush Hour and Non-Rush Hour tickets now available on bus and light rail. (Please note: the app is not valid for Express service.) Weekday and Weekend 2.5 hour tickets still on your phone remain valid but do follow the weekday/weekend rules from time of purchase.
3️⃣ Weekend All-Day Pass lets you ride all day on Saturday or Sunday.
4️⃣ Other improvements in stability and usability issues in the app.
