There's no option/ feature for me listen to any local npr station. I have installed each app twice and I have done everything outlined in the help section. It says there's supposed to be an option for live stream on the Home page. It's not there. There's absolutely nothing about listening to music of any kind. I certainly miss when I could listen to any npr station that was broadcasting.

I love NPR, but their app is only ok. I like that it connects me to my local radio station & I can follow NPR podcasts on it. However, I'd love to continuously scroll through news stories in the various subjects - it only shows a list of the most recent ~10 headlines & anything past that I'd just have to know to search for. I'd also like the ability to select specific subjects I want notifications for; getting notifications for "breaking" stories I don't care about is annoying.

The way the app used to be formatted was geared towards reading news stories. That was perfect. Pivoting to podcasts is not something I care for. If I want to listen to NPR, it's in the name: radio. If I want the podcast form, there are many other ways to do that. The only way to read news on NPR on my phone was through the app. Additionally, despite disabling the NPR app's ability to use device audio, it will play via Bluetooth, even with the app closed.
