Downloaded this app to try after Google podcasts shut down... It's unfortunately limited as an app for listening to podcasts. There's no way to change the playback speed (I typically like to listen to podcasts at 1.5x speed), you can't download podcasts, and the playback function is not intuitive. Love the content, just not so much the app

Every time you connect to this streaming service, it plays an ad. This becomes problematic with a weak data connection, as any interruption—like entering a basement or receiving a call—restarts the ad. This can lead to hearing the same ad multiple times within minutes, causing you to miss key parts of news stories. This issue is pushing me to consider using a traditional radio again.

Great news sourse...buggy app. When I have my phone's bluetooth on and I get in the car, NPR auto starts. I DO NOT want that. I only listen to music in the car and I don't listen to NPR at all. I read the NPR stories I'm interested in. I have tried and tried to find any setting to disable autoplay but to no avail. I want my music app to auto-connect, again not NPR.Have left feedback regarding this a couple times but so far...silence. About to uninstall. Shame...been an NPR fan for 30yrs
