Chrono Mobile is the official application of the transit corporations (exo, REM, RTL, STL and STM). It has been developed to give its users a complete metropolitan experience.

Whether by bike (BIXI), metro, Communauto, river shuttle, bus or train, Chrono lets you buy your fares, find the best route for your next trip or reserve an alternative mode of transportation.

Download the application, create, and personalize your account to benefit from all the features:
-Avoid queues, reload your OPUS card, and buy fares.
-Access information on the entire metropolitan network: real-time* and planned complete schedules, bus and train positions and occupancy levels, network map, etc.
-Reserve your next BIXI, book a Communauto or Communauto Flex
-Plan all your future trips by public transit or bicycle.
-Create favorites and alerts for lines and stops you use often.
-Read the contents of all your cards (OPUS and occasional) and find a new point of sale to buy your tickets.

Ratings and reviews

Just as other reviews have stated, the app reads the cards, allows you to purchase a fare, but then can't find the same card to load the fare. Tried this with three different cards, two different phones, and finally one loaded after taking off the phone case and about 10 minutes of moving the card around. I'll note that taking off the phone case is not required to read the cards. I have used the Opus En Ligne reader for years and it works great. I just used it to load all three cards in minutes.

This app is mainly only useful to recharge your Montreal transit pass. If you want to know the times of when your buses are coming or plan a route, it doesn't do that very well and it has a terrible layout and functionality for those things. But you can recharge your transit pass, so for that I use it and for everything else I use different apps.

It's still useless, I can't edit my favorite bus routes, I still get a message error. I logged out, uninstalled and reinstalled and now I cannot even log in to see the schedules I had already. I wonder what it will be like next year when they add more features, most likely it will be still a disaster and still a totally useless app
