To experience George on mobile/tablet, you need an account with BCR as well as a valid George account. The application requires at least Android 5.1 and It works also on Android-powered tablets.

Ratings and reviews

First of all, you have to go to the bank for various simple things, like closing an account!!! Why?! Lately they introduced all sorts of pop ups that can't be turned off, trying to sell all kinds of services. Pure greed and most annoying. Commissions and fees are a nightmare compared to rival apps. After the last update it reacts very slow. I my case, sometimes the confirmation time for a payment expires before I get the notification from the app. Not recommended in case you have other options.

Works fine but the name is very confusing. I usually search for BCR out of habit, not George. Also, it requires Android 10 now.

cea mai janghină aplicație worst way to lock down one's money. app shuts down with generic error or none at all every time I try to open it. moreover, it displays crash messages despite not being used. support team is totally useless, they can't help users with a proper debug. avoid BCR at all costs, they put your money at huge risk

What’s new

George comes with a new app version that introduces Travel Hub, a dedicated space for travel where you can find useful information and tools when you are abroad: updated exchange rates, a converter that works offline, eSIM options, and local insights. Hey George is now available from George Wrap in Fin Coach, so you can start a conversation right after viewing your monthly spending summary. Round Up now shows how much you have saved in the current month, as well as your total savings to date.
