Badly translated English and ridiculous ticketing system. Why can't they just instantly send an email with a confirmation that serves as a ticket, like most transport companies all over the world? Instead you have to “collect” the ticket, and if you do it electronically, you can no longer change it online, and it claims you're only allowed to show the code from within the app (no screenshots) and that you'll fail and lose your money if you don't have internet. But I did use it successfully.

The app offers English language setting. However many of the translations do not fully communicate the message. Some trains you cannot use easy and I cash card, the mandrin version states this clearly. But the English version gives a broken confusing message. Getting on these trains by using one of these cards and without a ticket leads to a steep penalty. The app shouldn't offer an English version if it can't communicate meanings clearly.

I used TWRail app to check across all public transportation for planning and purchased tickets that are saved in my phone app. Worked perfectly! It had some learning curve due to how substation and main station were categorized. The stations are ordered in the order of arrival so clicking through surrounding stations helped to find the exact substation name.
