Our September games picks

History is yours to mold in TABS: Pocket Edition – a battle simulator with wobbly physics that serves up endless hours of fun. In TABS’ campaign mode, you’re given limited currency to deploy units capable of beating the opposite team. Should you use Spear Throwers and Clubbers to defeat the Blue team’s army, or would a single Mammoth do the trick?

Sandbox mode, on the other hand, allows you to play out any battle you can dream up – no matter how weird or wacky. Ever wondered whether Blackbeard could take on an entire fleet of pirates by himself? Now’s a great time to find out. Perfectly silly and consistently engaging, TABS is both an excellent outlet for creativity and an all-around delight to play.
