가뜩이나 회사 일이 많아 제대로 즐기지 못하던 중, 잠시 쉰다는 게 잠들어버렸다. 눈뜨자마자 주변을 둘러보니 회사 사람들이 사라지고 없었다.
“난 산삼을 찾으러 다녀.”
남자가 앞만 보고 걸어가며 퉁명스럽게 말했다.
‘산삼? 그럼 심마니?’
TV에서나 보던 심마니를 내 눈으로 직접 보게 될 줄은 몰랐다.
“대단하네요. 저는 회사 사람들이랑 왔다가 길을 잘못 들어서…”
“오늘 찾은 거 같아. 산삼보다 더 좋은 걸 찾았어.”
갑자기 남자가 멈춰 서더니 휙 돌아섰다.
“네? 더 좋은 거요?”
흠칫 놀라 엉겁결에 나도 멈춰 서서 눈을 크게 떴다.
“우선 네가 이게 마음에 드는지 확인했으면 좋겠는데 말이야.”
