3.5 I can't believe this is the same author who delivered us ACOMAF, a masterpiece! I'm not Feyre's sisters biggest fan, I hate them both; but I decided to give Nesta a chance to prove me wrong, and I was not satisfied. She was established as the hateful one among the sisters, and through the first three books she was truly a depiction of antipathy. I knew this book was supposed to be a characters redemption one, we would finally get to read why she was so abhorrent; but I was so dissapointed by what I got in return. I can tell this book was very personal to Sarah J. Maas, I understand the message she wanted to convey. In that aspect, I think she achieved her goal. However, Cassian who is my favorite among the brothers, deserved better than being reduced to a sex toy. We got so much character building from Nesta but none from Cassian. Honestly, he could have been replaced for a stick, and it would have served the same purpose as Cassian's Illyrian appendage. On the other hand, the revival of Valkyries was fun to read, and Nesta finding her people was sweet as well. I don't think she redeemed herself by the end, but she's on her way to redemption.
