DAVID GAIDER lives in Edmonton, Alberta,and has worked for video game developer BioWare since 1999. He is the leadwriter on Dragon Age: Origins role-playing game and has previously worked on such titles as Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of AmnTM, Star Wars®:Knights of the Old RepublicTM, and Neverwinter NightsTM.
PATRICK WEEKES is a senior writer at BioWareTM and has contributed toall three of the award-winning Mass EffectTM games. His stories have appeared in Amazing Stories, Realms of Fantasy, and Strange Horizons. He has also published a stand-alone fantasy novel.
LIANE MERCIEL, a so-called army brat, grew up in Germany, South Korea, and several different parts of the United States. She is an alumnus of Yale University and the College of William & Mary Law School. She now lives in Philadelphia, where she practices law.
