Pretty good series that provides plenty of action, danger and suspense with a touch of romance. I like the characters and storyline. With the guild now gone Lily, an ex-vampire hunter, doesn’t know what to do with herself so she heads to the Grimalkin Academy. Unfortunately, she will be attending classes with the very beings she has hunted most of her life and if they do not get her a fellow hunter will. The author has done a phenomenal job connecting this series letting us read about old characters and the paths their lives have taken. This was an interesting read and I look forward to reading more from this author. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I totally enjoyed this series. The story line was gripping and had me wanting to read all the stories so fast I couldn't seem to put them down. This story was full of emotion, adventure, danger, and anticipation. I really love all of Laura Greenwood's academy series and try to read all of them. I like how this story shows the reader that you should be careful of your actions and how you treat people because you never know when those same actions might be used against you. I like how it included a small romance but it didn't take over the whole story. This was a good and fun read, like all the the author's works. Definitely recommend this series. This was a good read, Lily use to be a vampire hunter, when the vampires stopped her hunting and instead allowed her to have an education she goes to a school for vampires and witches. From there she goes from hunter to vampire and then being hunted. This set is great because you get the whole series and no waiting or buying another book. I really enjoy sets and being able to read from start to finish and I have to say I love the future Lily sees in the end. I would recommend this book.
