Another great installment in the series. Ani is running herself crazy as usual. Being the 'temp' high priestess while they await the results of the election. We do find out who wins by the end, and now it's time for Ani and Nik to get ready for the Festival of the Blessed. I am loving this series so much. So far, I have read books 1-7 in less than a week and I'm on to Book 8 right now! Great characters, sweet young romance, and some great friends to keep you laughing and guessing.

Ani and Nik helped get rid of a corrupt High Priest. Now her reward is to oversee the election of a new one. There are only five candidates but the work that comes to her is high. She hates paperwork as it is but this can take it to a new level. Once she has Nik reading her messages to keep up to date on her chores things get s little easier. Then she finds out she has to oversee each candidate in a ceremony. She really can't Wait till the election is over! Another great book in the series. The Apprentice Of Anubis series continues and Ani is the temp High Priestess overseeing the succession of the new High Priest at London Temple of Anubis. Ani just wants to go back to the mortuary and finish her training and not deal with temple politics! It's so great to watch Ani grow into the person she's supposed to be and see her and Nik's romance continue to grow deeper. I'm so loving this series!!.
