While overall I did like this book, it's just not my favorite from this series. This book starts in July of the previous year, so all the couples from the first six books aren't together yet. From one night stand to the ultimate friends with benefits to having it all. Derek and Amanda are a flirty cute couple with some fun sexy times, but not really super hot and steamy like some of the other couples we've met. Where most of the books have the various characters revolving in and out because so much of the story occurs at the bar, that's not the case with this book. It seems like a lot of the book takes place outside of the bar. Because of the length of the book and the jumps in timeline, I feel like something is missing. You do get some different POVs from other characters and get the setup for Mr. August. I'm already anticipating the next book and plan a full on binge reread right before the 12th book premiers.

Man of the Month is one of my favourite series and book 7, Turn Me On is for me the best so far. What happens when a couple that hook up once a month decide they want more, what happens when it seems that only one of them wants more do you risk losing what you have ...... Mr July was a perfect love story, it wasn’t rushed, it was about two people getting to know each other and falling in love, it started off as a hook up and turned into so much more. This book felt real to me because it’s about real feelings, emotions and fears, the chemistry was sizzling hot and the attraction was instant but it was only ever meant to be a once a month Hook Up .......... I love my catch ups at The Fix because every book is about friends and lovers and every story makes you feel like you are visiting and catching up with friendships formed over the previous books. J.Kenner is doing a great job with her Man of the Month Series and I can’t wait to meet Mr August.

Another drool worthy man of the month that you can’t help but want to claim as a book boyfriend. What’s really fun about this one is that we get to see some different POV’s of some scenes from previous books since this one technically starts before book 1 of the series. Don’t worry though, if for some weird reason you don’t read the series you won’t be lost. There wasn’t as much about the bar in this one which was somewhat of a bummer but made sense due to the timeline. Plus these characters aren’t as involved with the bar like the other characters so far. I really liked that it was a bit different by not having so much focus on the bar. The main focus was the journey to the HEA and it was awesome! Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this work and chose to write a review.
