About this eBook

Though we see each other only once a month, Amanda’s sweet body and wicked ways have been driving me wild for over a year.

And now that I’m moving to Austin, I’m determined to have Amanda in my bed permanently.

There’s only one problem: Amanda’s happy with our current arrangement. But I’m going to try every sensual, seductive, romantic trick up my sleeve to convince her that a lifetime of nights together is worth the risk … and forever will be so much sweeter.

Who’s Your Man of the Month?

When a group of fiercely determined friends realize their beloved hang-out is in danger of closing, they take matters into their own hands to bring back customers lost to a competing bar. Fighting fire with a heat of their own, they double down with the broad shoulders, six-pack abs, and bare chests of dozens of hot, local guys who they cajole, prod, and coerce into auditioning for a Man of the Month calendar.

But it’s not just the fate of the bar that’s at stake. Because as things heat up, each of the men meets his match in this sexy, flirty, and compelling binge-read romance series of twelve novels releasing every other week from New York Times bestselling author J. Kenner.

“With each novel featuring a favorite romance trope—beauty and the beast, billionaire bad boys, friends to lovers, second chance romance, secret baby, and more—this series hits the heart and soul of romance.”New York Times bestselling author Carly Phillips

Each book is a STANDALONE romance with an HEA and an overarching story about the friends and the bar. Totally hot and utterly binge-worthy!

While overall I did like this book, it's just not my favorite from this series. This book starts in July of the previous year, so all the couples from the first six books aren't together yet. From one night stand to the ultimate friends with benefits to having it all. Derek and Amanda are a flirty cute couple with some fun sexy times, but not really super hot and steamy like some of the other couples we've met. Where most of the books have the various characters revolving in and out because so much of the story occurs at the bar, that's not the case with this book. It seems like a lot of the book takes place outside of the bar. Because of the length of the book and the jumps in timeline, I feel like something is missing. You do get some different POVs from other characters and get the setup for Mr. August. I'm already anticipating the next book and plan a full on binge reread right before the 12th book premiers.

It's time for Mr. July. This one felt a little different then the rest in the series. They had the bar they're trying to save, but it wasn't as prominent as the previous books , but in no means it wasn't as good. I liked Amanda and Derek together. The flow was great in getting their full story. This one did leave anticipating the next book in the series.

TURN ME ON is the seventh instalment in J. Kenner’s contemporary, adult MAN OF THE MONTH erotic, romance novella series focusing on a fund raiser for the popular Austin, Texas bar known as The Fix. This is billionaire hotel developer for the family owner Winston Hotel chain Derek Winston, and real estate agent Amanda Franklin. TURN ME ON can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary, although I recommend reading the series in order for backstory and cohesion. SOME BACKGROUND: The Fix on Sixth, a local Austin hangout and bar, is in desperate need of renovations and a quick influx of cash so a plan is put into motion, by a group of regulars, a plan that includes a Man of the Month calendar competition, a recipe book, and a reality show aimed at rehabbing the bar. NOTE: TURN ME ON is a bit of a departure from the series in that most of the events and story line take place in the months prior to the Man of the Month competition, celebrations and current events. Told from dual third person perspectives (Amanda and Derek) TURN ME ON follows the building relationship and atypical arrangement between Austin real estate agent Amanda Franklin, and hotel developer Derek Winston of the Winston Hotel chain. Derek’s once monthly visits to Austin comes with the side benefit of real estate agent Amanda Franklin, a woman he met on one of his visits to Austin, Texas. Neither one looking for a permanent relationship but an unspoken commitment for the foreseeable future finds Derek and Amanda agreeing to a once –monthly meet up when Derek comes to town. As the months pass, they will each reconsider their ‘casual’ arrangement as they struggle with jealousy, resentment and loneliness in the absence of one another. Derek will battle his father for his independence and the potential future of the Winston Boutiques division, as Amanda has second thoughts about their current arrangement. We are introduced to Derek’s best friend Jared Ingram-a man who struggles with his own demons; Derek’s sister Mellie, and their father Anthony Winston who has little faith in his son’s personal affairs or friendship with Jared Ingram. TURN ME ON is a sexy, provocative and playful story line. The premise is engaging and enjoyable: the romance is sensual and passionate; the characters are captivating and engaging.
