Ratings and reviews

When Fi3 came around with the subscription model it was supposed to include hardware upgrades. They had raised the price, where the earlier models you bought the device and paid for the service, for a time, a reduced rate. So they have an actual upgrade which they claim faster seek times, a serious need, they have pulled the free hardware upgrades, right after my subscription reupped. And battery life went from months to maybe 2 weeks. The Apple move. Planned obsolescence. Screw us.

I'm comparing this to another tracker, the app is more polished, the device is a lot smaller which is great. I haven't had it long enough to test battery yet. I wish the light was a lot brighter as it is on the other tracker. But my main issue and the most important one, is that it takes forever to locate the dog. deducting another star for the fact that you can't cancel your subscription, when I tried to cancel it said a customer service representative would get back to me, I'm still waiting

App is terrible now. You can only open the app while connected to the Internet. Bluetooth functionality is dead. Collars no longer connect to phone via Bluetooth. No way to see even collar battery status without Internet, even if you're on the same wifi network as the base. So if you lose Internet, you lose everything. We will likely not continue service because of these issues.
