Absolutely hate consumer cellular! Mobile data is the worst. 3 mins + for a simple web page to load. 5 mins for maps to load. Yes, I did hit my data cap @ 50gb. However, I can't even use my phone on the road. CC needs an option to purchase more data or add more plans with more data. On top of that, connection drops, my hotspot constantly needs to be reactivated by calling cc customer service. Nothing about them is consistent. Worst carrier ever. Will definitely be shopping for another carrier.

For last couple of years this app will only work occasionally, then you can not log in because of incorrect username or password, when both were the same when it was working. Trying to reset password was an exercise in futility. Customer support had a different "solution" every time you contacted them. Again sometimes it worked but most of the time it didn't. App is a complete zero. If you want to check your usage with CC you will simply have to call them and go through thier menu.

I love Consumer Cellular and their customer service "rocks", at least from my experience with grandpad and cellphone, but the app needs help. I don't use it much because I feel is pretty much useless. As others have stated, it makes you log in everytime and seemingly forgets your number and password. I've written mine down as to not forget myself but it never seems to work. Maybe there's a timeout period, where it forgets the info if you don't use the app, not sure.
