I really wish Google Tasks added location/proximity-based reminders. I travel a lot personally and for work and I would prefer an active reminder when I get to a location rather than estimate the approximate time I'll be there. Not a huge deal, but a small addition that would go a long way. Outside of that, it's literally perfect. I recently moved from Apple and got use to that convenience.

Easy to use. Good for basic tasks. Needs improvements including sharing tasks lists with other users, the ability to place tasks "in process", grouping completed subtasks with the main task. When I look at a task in process I should be able to see the completed subtasks. Needs to be able to attach photos and documents to the task. Take a look at Microsoft Planner for ideas.

Samsung reminders is currently better. I don't like how Google tasks doesn't allow attachments like pictures as part of the task. I also don't like how if I mark a recurring task as completed, it doesn't immediately appear for the next day. Finally, Gemini did a horrible job migrating my tasks from Samsung reminders to Google tasks . The recurring tasks were broken, it offered to reconstruct them and then delete the old ones, and then duplicates appeared throughout the app.
