Been really struggling with echo speakers the last week. I had a power outage on Tuesday, and my dot did not pair back up with wifi. many attempts and then an hour with CS, and it still wouldn't pair. By trading in a device I've had for the only a year, Amazon gave me a whopping 20% off a new one. I bought a pop. It won't pair either. I've reset the units, turned off all other wi-fi items, rebooted the wifi. Nothing has changed; it just won't work any longer.

decades away from where I wish it would be. I've just found that performing it myself is easier, less complicated, and less task-heavy than asking a VA to do it. if I become a non ambulatory invalid that can only ask a handful of (simple) questions, I'll make sure to instal this. finding use of Alexa is a time eater.. I can't be bothered with trends like this. Google Assistant is functional, so why switch? other than for an echo device. they are cute.

This app is barely functional. Sure you can use it to setup and control your Alexa Echo devices, in fact it is necessary for that and managing skills. But it is little quirks that make it very frustrating, for example: tapping your phone's back button (or swiping the back gesture) closes the app instead of going back to the previous screen. Managing skills requires tapping more, skills and games, scrolling to the bottom, my skills and you have to repeat this every time for every skill.
