Including layers of security and privacy controls, Arizona Mobile ID is a contactless, convenient way to verify your identity from your phone.

Arizona Mobile ID allows you to control what information you share during a transaction. For example, when buying age-restricted items, the app can confirm you are of legal age without having to share your birth date or address.

Intuitive and easy-to-use, Mobile ID is unlocked by a selfie match to verify identity, or by using a self-selected pin or TouchID/FaceID so your personal information is always protected.

In five simple steps, you can register for your Arizona mID:

1. Download the app and set permissions
2. Register your phone number
3. Use your device camera to scan the front and back of your driver’s license or ID card
4. Follow the app’s registration steps to take a selfie
5. Set up app security and you’re good to go!

Arizona Mobile ID can be used to verify a person’s identity to complete enhanced-verification services online, such as transferring a vehicle title and requesting a disbursement at AZMVDNow.gov, MVD’s primary customer self-service website.

Please note: Arizona Mobile ID is considered an official state-issued ID, serving as a companion to your physical ID. Please continue to carry your physical ID because not all entities are able to verify mID yet.

This seemed like a good idea (recommended by AZ DMV). But NO. Could not get the app to take a simple selfie w/my phone, so had to re-enter all my data 4 times. I gave up, I've got work to do. What a time-waster! Leave it to the govt to make a simple app impossible to configure. As mentioned by others, link(s) didn't work. Had to copy/paste it into a browser. I'll just carry my DL. This app's not there yet.

I downloaded the MiD Arizona app, did the verification code, it scanned the front of my license without issue. Then when I tried scanning the back of my ID, I repeatedly got an error message that read "Sorry, there was an issue. Please try to complete the task again." I tried repeating the task multiple times and just kept getting the same error message whenever it came to the part of scanning the back of my ID. Needless to say, I've been unable to finish the set up process and unable to use the app.

Like many people, I can't even get passed the enrollment of my telephone number. It takes me to a dead link. Which I've found out it's because it needs to open up in the ap, not Chrome. Well....I have no way to change that. Then whomever is replying to these ratings suggests contacting help through the ap, WHICH is only available from 8am to 6pm, EASTERN TIME. When we are on the west coast, a while 3 hours earlier!!!! Very frustrated!!
