As you prepare for your vacation, download the ultimate cruise app! Available on all Carnival ships.

Use the Carnival HUB app to share your cruise countdown with friends, then explore and book shore excursions, spa treatments, drink packages and more (restricted for adults). When the time comes, you may also check-in and obtain your boarding documents.

As you board your ship, connect to Carnival’s Wi-Fi to view what’s happening, weather, dining menus and more! Onboard internet purchase is NOT required to use the Carnival HUB app.

Before your cruise:

Ratings and reviews

Pretty much necessary if you on the ship. A potential problem for older cruisers who are technophobic. For example, can't have breakfast in the dining room without checking in each time on the app. No paper edition of the days events delivered to our room. App is about average in terms of intuitiveness. The app, like Carnival itself. not terrible. Aspires to be average. Doesn't always achieve it.

The ship's free wifi for the app was spotty. Sometimes it worked great, and other times it did not work at all. Lower decks the signal is almost Zero. Upper decks were good. Possible suggestion would be perhaps a tracking of the ship in the water. Kinda like the display that was in n ship. Another would be a directions aspect. Like going from your location to wherever you are going on the ship. Otherwise a good app.

The app is great for seeing what is going on around the ship, dining options and checkin, menus, times things are open, and viewing your account. What it could do better is the chat feature. If you have to pay $5 to use it, then it should work for everyone. Some messages go through, some don't, and then it tells you you need to add friends when you have already done it. Fix that one bug and I'd give it a 5.
