CHECK LIVE BUS TIMES
The First Bus App is the best way to get live bus times and route information. You can save your favourite stops, routes and locations and revisit recently searched journeys. The map shows the bus stops nearby where you can see live updates to check where and when your bus is coming letting you head to your bus stop just before your bus is due.

Ratings and reviews

good when it works but very unreliable, sometimes the bus stops just don't show the map and the search feature comes up with no results making the app useless. I like being able to see where the bus is on the map because that's more accurate than the time tables. We get a lot of replacement buses in the area and some of them are not tracked, but the counter still goes for them.

I've asked three different people and no one was able to help describe or show how to map a route with this app. It shows the locations of bus stops, but not how to get anywhere (as far as anyone I've encountered can tell) and doesn't show the areas (, tickets are based on areas served) clearly. However, it is easy to purchase tickets. Bad that tickets expire within 24 hours once activated, so use it or lose it (ie, don't change your mind and decide to walk because it's a nice day out)

As much as it's useful to use when travelling around Bristol, it has a habit of deciding not to work. It's telling me to select my region - I'm unable to access the app without doing this - but it won't let me select my region. Stuck in town now and need to wait for a lift. A lot of other parts of the app don't work as well, please fix the system, then I'll edit my review.
