About this app

The FreeStyle LibreLink app is approved for use with the FreeStyle Libre and FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor systems. You can check your glucose by scanning the sensor with your phone. Users of the FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor system can now get automatic glucose readings in the FreeStyle LibreLink app, updated every minute, and also receive alerts when their glucose is low or high. You can use the FreeStyle LibreLink app to:

* View your current glucose reading, trend arrow, and glucose history
* Receive low or high glucose alarms with the FreeStyle Libre 2 system sensors [2]
* Add notes to track your food, insulin use, and exercise
* View reports such as Time in Range and Daily Patterns
* Share your data with your doctor and family, with your permission [3]

HOW TO USE THE APP AND READER WITH THE SAME SENSOR
Alarms can only be triggered on the FreeStyle Libre 2 reader or phone (not both). To receive alarms on your phone, start the sensor with the app. To receive alarms on your FreeStyle Libre 2 reader, start the sensor with the reader. Once the sensor is started with the reader, you can also scan that sensor with your mobile phone.

Please note that the app and reader do not share data with each other. To get complete information about a device, scan the sensor every 8 hours with that device; otherwise, your reports will not include all of the data. You can upload and view data from all of your devices at LibreView.com.

APPLICATION INFORMATION
The FreeStyle LibreLink is intended to measure glucose levels in individuals with diabetes when used with the sensor.
