I switched to pixel specially to get stunning photo and video experience. Mostly I got it, moreover - I realized that good camera won't fix both left hands😂 but.. I switched to pixel 7 pro, and wanted to use telephoto lens to its full potential, but this version of camera makes shooting video on that lens very bad: there are a lot of losses of focus, jitters and other defects of video. Please fix that!!! The only software doesn't allow you to make good videos with 5x zoom.

Don't know what you guys are doing with this, seems to be a trend with google of just removing features unnecessarily. The speed is also extremely lacking, used to be instant now when I take a photo is sometimes doesn't even register in my camera roll. The settings are a joke and we basically get photos that look like compositions. I know the viewfinder doesn't represent the final image but that has also taken a hit, and it's not for speed. Its like you want me to get a samsung.

Pixel 8 - Meh. Never seems to capture the subtle colors or movements I see, because it's busy trying to optimize the colors to meet some sort of coloring-book standard. Cloud pics are always adjusted to be too blue, no subtle purples or greys. When I zoom in, the picture moves around drunkenly and it's hard to keep it steady on my target, whether I brace the canera or not. The one time I used an iPhone the camera felt rock-steady, and color was great! Might have to get one just for pictures.
