Ratings and reviews

Great alternative for the Google One VPN. The VPN part is 100% free and unlimited. Paid features are extra but not necessary to do things. It is really easy to use, and I had basically no learning curve. The only thing I wish it had was the ability to hide IP address instead of changing it to somewhere else. I clicked connect and it changed my IP address to the Netherlands, and some of Google was in Dutch (I think, just not English).

The free mobile version has gone downhill in the past several years. I use to have an option to pick and choose servers but now i'm forced to go with a random server. (Not all servers work equally). I also noticed that it doesn't notify me when it disconnects or losses connection which defeats the purpose of having a vpn. I can't complain too much since its free and it has served me well. I'm sure the premium version is much better.

Fast VPN from a company that seems to truly value protection and data security for its customers but has a critical issue on Chromebook and is missing a few features that would make usability better, i.e. having the option to connect to the fastest server in a specific country instead of just connecting to the fastest country. The issue on Chromebook stems from the Chromebook going into sleep mode and waking back up. After waking up, speeds are extremely slow and Chromebook must be restarted.
