Want to know ahead of time if your train will arrive on time? Want to have quicker access to your ticket during ticket inspection? Want to be able to find your way better at the station and have reliable map information? We have good news for you! SBB Mobile can do it all. And much more.

The heart of the app is the new navigation bar with the following menu points and content.

• Buy your ticket for the whole of Switzerland in just two clicks. Your travelcards on the SwissPass are applied.
• Travel particularly affordably with supersaver tickets or Saver Day Passes.

Trips
• Save your trip and we will provide you with all the information you need during your journey under ‘Single Trips’: everything from departure and arrival times, platform information and service disruptions to train formations and walking routes.

Data security and authorisations.
What permissions does SBB Mobile need and why?

Location
For connections from your current location, the GPS function must be activated so that SBB Mobile can find the nearest stop. This also applies if you want to have the nearest stop displayed in the timetable.

Calendar and e-mail
You can save connections in your own calendar and send them by e-mail (to friends, an external calendar). SBB Mobile requires read and write permissions to be able to import your desired connection into the calendar.

Access to the camera
SBB Mobile requires access to your camera to take pictures directly in the app for your personalised touch timetable.

Internet access
SBB Mobile requires internet access to search the timetable as well as for ticket purchases.

Memory
To support offline functions, e.g. station/stop list, connections (history) and purchased tickets, SBB Mobile requires access to your device’s memory (saving app-specific settings).

It was nice when it worked! But now it is an 'Oops something went wrong app'! It freezes and on one occasion I was not able to prove that I have a half price abo. But the worst is that when it comes to paying, it doesn't work. I changed the payment method, reinstalled the app, switched off and on the phone, all to no avail. Back to buying paper tickets and showing my physical card Followed developer advice to exclude the app from VPN. Now, it invites me to log in, next page says 'not found'.

Hello. Try updating the browser you are using in the PlayStore. Or try another browser. If you are using a VPN and/or a virus scanner, deactivate it and try logging in again. Login problems can usually be traced back to these causes. Kind regards.

cumbersome to start ...but good once everything is up and running. When setting up one's profile (1) one needs to be careful not to close the authentication code entry page and (2) one has to enter payment information before any later purchase. Otherwise payment information is not prompted when attempting a purchase which is a fault. The overall functionality is excellent and one can save a lot of money.

It's a good app, I'm voting 1 star purely because of their decision to add advertisements which cover 40% of sceenspace to the homepage. The adverts load late meaning I accidentally click on it instead of using the services. Please SBB, keep the advertising to the boards at stations. EDIT: I just found there's a setting to disable the ads, thank you! Changed to 3 stars.

Good day Mr Barret-Sprot. Thank you for your feedback and the adjusted rating. Exactly, you can completely turn off advertising in SBB Mobile ("Settings" -> "Offers & Advertising"). Kind regards.
