The Signal by Farmers app can help you drive safer and offers the potential for discounts and rewards. Signal is a program available to eligible Farmers auto insurance customers.1

I like getting a discount every month. I don't like that it ranks me worse than average on hard breaking. However, all of my trips show 0 hard breaking events. I think there is a bug in how this is calculated. It might be nice if you could filter the list of trips to only show ones where I was the driver, was speeding, distracted, or had hard breaking events.

App is running. Permissions have been granted. Battery optimizations are off. However trips aren't recorded. Guess I'll be struggling to maintain my discount because the app is not working properly. The app also requires location access to simply launch. If location is not turned on, you can't even view past drives or do anything in the app. It's a very flawed implementation.

while the app seems to work most of the time, I get random notifications that it needs permissions set correctly. I set the permissions when I installed the app, haven't changed anything, and so far didn't recall an update that might have changed them very annoying at just a little after midnight when I get notified to set my permissions. I've also received emails from Farmers that Signal isn't working and that I may be missing trips. when I check everything is fine
